PG Department of Physics in colloboration with Energy Conservation Society, Kadavallur Panchayath and ANERT organised a seminar on solar power plant installation.It gave an awareness on the installation of solar power plant to the local people of Kadavallur panchayath and Kudumbashree unit. Subsidy and installation process were discussed during the session.
PATHEYAM: FEED THE HUNGRY
Patheyam is an initiative to ‘Feed The Hungry’ started by the PG Department of Physics as an extension activity for the local community nearby Perumpilavu in collaboration with Care Althara unit .Care Althara unit has placed a Food Bank at Perumpilavu Junction to collect the food for those who need. The students of Physics Department has prepared food and collected from other Departments and handover to the Food bank on every Wednesdays. This initiative was inaugurated on 4th March 2020 by Ummer Karikkad, an artist. Our students are so enthusiastic to do such duties among the society. The faculties of our department are always motivating students to do such activities which make the students a well social being.
